Parksville Condos to Go By Real Estate Auction

By Duncan Boan • May 17th, 2008 • Category: Most Recent Articles, Parksville

It doesn’t happen very often in British Columbia - real estate being sold by auction, that is.

But mark your calendar for June 21, because that’s the day that Ritchie Bros, auctioneers, will drop the gavel five times - once for each luxury condo to be sold that day in The Onyx, Parksville. Apparently the developer wants to move on to its next project, and is going to clear out the five units that remain in this 30 unit project.

It’s an unreserved auction, so the units will sell. Whether they sell at bargain basement prices remains to be seen.

The auction happens in the River Rock Casino in Richmond, BC, but there are several simulcast locations too. Check out this link for further auction details.

Happy bidding!
