Centennial Walk at Royal Oak
Posted By Duncan Boan • Jun 14th, 2008 • Location: Saanich
This condominium project is the first phase of a development adjacent to the Royal Oak Shopping Centre. Later phases are intended to include a building with office and retail space, and another building possibly with commercial on the main and residential space above.
The residential condominium building is a four story structure set to the rear of the property, behind an existing townhouse development, and adjacent to the Centennial Trail passing through the area. It is designed by De Hoog and Kierluf, architects, and features a west coast theme with low roof lines and exteriors of siding, brick and stone.
There will be 56 units in all - eight one bedroom units, and the remainder will be two bedrooms. Some nice features include nine foot ceilings, hardwood or bamboo floors, granite counters, and luxury bathrooms.
All of the two bedroom units provide good separation between the bedrooms, and the second bedroom is conveniently located adjacent to the main bathroom.
Top floor units have extra-high ceilings and extra windows. Ground floor units have semi-private enclosed yards and patio areas.
This complex has a wide variety of retail, professional and public services & amenities located nearby. Prices begin at $279,000, and should be available to move in the fall of 2008.
